What is Nanotechnology?introduction of nanoparticles | applications of nanotechnology

Nanotechnology You must have heard this name many times. As the name itself suggests, Neno means small, means to shorten and use technology in its work. You must have seen Avengers movies, how does antmen reduce its size. This is exactly nanotechnology, the more we know about it, the more we can develop in nanotechnology.

Introduction of Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology: – Invention of something, an invention by taking things as small as possible in size is called nanotechnology.
Nanotechnology was started on December 29, 1959, at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), a physicist named Richard Feynman, although he had already made this discovery, but presented it to him in front of the American Physical Society meeting on December 29, 1959. The term nanotechnology was used. This technology did not get much publicity until 1981, but gradually this technology became famous and nanotechnology emerged.

Types of Nanotechnology

Although nanotechnology is divided into many parts, it is rightly divided into three parts.

  • Larger to smaller: a materials perspective
  • Simple to complex: a molecular perspective
  • Molecular nanotechnology: a long-term view

Larger to smaller: a materials perspective

As the name itself suggests, larger to smaller, to make things smaller and larger, to use. This includes statistical effects and quantum mechanical effects. For example, the “quantum shape effect” in which the electronic properties of the object are changed with a large decrease in particle size. That is when the nanometer reaches the boundary of an object, the electronic properties of the particle have to be reduced at that place.

Simple to complex: a molecular perspective

In today’s, chemistry has reached a place where it is possible to prepare small molecules in almost any structure or object. This method is used in the manufacture of a variety of useful chemicals such as pharmaceuticals or commercial polymers. Gathering these single molecules into super-molecular assemblies, in which many molecules are arranged in a well-defined manner.
These use the rules of molecular supramolecular chemistry, which organize themselves into some useful composition according to their needs below. The concept of molecular recognition is particularly important: molecules can be designed so that a specific configuration or arrangement is favored due to non-covalent intermolecular forces. That is to say, altogether, designing the molecules according to the need so that they can meet and become strong together.

Molecular nanotechnology: a long-term view

Molecular nanotechnology, called molecular manufacturing, describes nanosystems (nanoscale machines) operating at the molecule scale. Molecule nano-technology is specifically associated with molecule assemblers.

An experiment showing that positional molecular combinations are possible by Ho and Lee at Cornell University in 1999. They used a scanning tunneling microscope to take a carbon monoxide molecule (CO) onto an individual iron atom (Fe), which was sitting on a flat silver. The crystal, and chemically binds CO by applying a voltage to Fe.

What is Nanotechnology used for

In most developing countries nanotechnology is being used to treat disease and prevent health problems. The term for such nanotechnology is nanomedicine. Scientist says that sick people can be cured very easily with the use of nanotechnology.
Today, science has advanced so much that nanotechnology is also being applied or developed for various industrial and purification processes. Recently a new field arising from the core of nanotechnology is called nanotechnology.

Nanotechnology in medicine | application of nanoparticles

Image Results for Nanotechnology in Medicine just science. covers current developments in nanotechnology in medicine as well as applications of nanoparticles, as well as long-distance research that includes nanotechnology manufactured to repair at the cellular level -Includes the use of robots (called nanomedicine). This Nanomedicine will be like medicine and it will go very deep inside the body and will reduce the diseases occurring in the body very closely. Due to this, the body will be healthy soon.

applications of nanotechnology

In the last few decades, the fields of science and engineering have been trying to develop new and better types of energy technologies, which have the potential to improve lives worldwide.
To take the next leap from the current generation of technology, scientists and engineers are developing energy applications of nanotechnology. Nanotechnology is a new field of science, any technology that has components smaller than 100 nanometers. For the scale, a single virus particle is about 100 nanometers in width.
